Our Armoured Control Cable adds double layer steel tape armour to the ordinary control cable. Its voltage rating is 450/750V. It can be laid directly in soil. It can also be laid in frozen ground. And it works in industrial places that need to withstand heavy weight pressure.
After stranding the cores, we extrude an inner liner. We usually use PVC tape or PE tape. This layer is very important. It works like a cushion. It stops the steel tape from cutting the inner insulation cores when bending or under pressure.
The armour layer is double layer galvanized steel tape. We wrap it around the inner liner with a gap. The steel tape thickness depends on the imaginary diameter before armouring. It is usually 0.2mm to 0.8mm. The two steel tape layers are wrapped in opposite directions. No matter which direction the side pressure comes from, the cable takes the pressure evenly.
The outer layer is a weather resistant PVC sheath. This sheath is thicker than ordinary KVV. It protects the steel tape from chemical corrosion in the soil or environment.
The armour layer can handle side pressure up to 10kN. It can also handle axial tension of 1.5kN. It will not have permanent deformation. It resists hits from excavators during construction. Rats cannot bite through it.
Because of the steel tape, the Armoured Control Cable needs a strict minimum bend radius of 12 times the cable outer diameter or more. For direct burial, we suggest putting a layer of sand at the bottom of the trench. Then cover with bricks.
We provide a 1 year warranty. For custom products, the payment is 30% deposit. The rest is paid when the goods arrive at the port and pass inspection. We accept USD, EUR, and other foreign currencies.
