Does the signal from your PLC stay accurate when it reaches the field device? It depends on the control cable in between.
Our Multi Core Control Cable is the most widely used control cable in industrial automation. Its voltage rating is 450/750V. It is used for control circuits, monitoring circuits, and protection lines. It sends commands from the PLC or DCS system to each field device accurately.
The conductor is high purity oxygen free copper. Conductivity is over 99.9%. We make the conductor into a Class 2 stranded structure. It is a multi strand compact round shape. This gives it some flexibility and enough mechanical strength. Terminal crimping is very easy.
The insulation is PVC. We use standard colors to tell each core apart. The green and yellow one is the ground wire. This stops wiring mistakes. At 70°C, its insulation resistance constant is not less than 0.0367 MΩ·km.
We twist multiple cores together. We fill the middle with polypropylene mesh tearing rope. This keeps the cable round. The outer layer is a black or grey PVC sheath. This material is oil resistant and acid resistant. It blocks common chemical corrosion in industrial sites.
The Multi Core Control Cable has core counts from 2 to 61. Cross sections go from 0.5mm² to 10mm². The conductor long term working temperature cannot exceed 70°C. At 20°C, the conductor DC resistance strictly follows the GB/T 3956 standard.
It has no armour layer. So its minimum bend radius is only 6 times the cable outer diameter. It works very well for cable trays, bridges, or pipe installation.
