Our Alloy Armoured Power Cable helps customers save a lot of money. Its conductor is 8000 series rare earth aluminum, like AA8030. We also add rare earth elements into it. A 120 sq mm aluminum cable carries the same current as a 95 sq mm copper cable. You can save about 50% on material costs. Aluminum weighs only one third of copper. Shipping and installation costs go down too.
Our factory has been making cables since 2001. That is 25 years now. We have our own R&D team. On this cable, we use a special annealing process. This makes it 300% more creep resistant than pure aluminum. Old aluminum cables had loose connections after long use. We solved this problem.
We gave this cable a four layer design. The first layer is the rare earth aluminum conductor. The second layer is XLPE insulation. Its long term working temperature reaches 90°C. During a short circuit (5 seconds max), it can handle 250°C. This is much better than old PVC insulation. The third layer is double layer galvanized steel tape armor. We wrap the steel tape around layer by layer. The gap between wraps is less than half the tape width. This layer is very strong. It can take heavy outside pressure. Rats and ants cannot bite through it. So the Alloy Armoured Power Cable is best for direct burial. The fourth layer is PVC sheath. It does not get brittle at -40°C. It also blocks chemicals in the soil and UV light from the sun.
The voltage rating for this cable goes from 0.6/1kV up to 26/35kV. Its minimum bending radius is only 7 times the cable outer diameter. This is more flexible than many old cables. On site installation is very easy.
We provide a 1 year warranty. If the goods arrive at your site and are damaged, and it is our fault, we will replace them. We pay all costs. Every reel is inspected before packing. We also have dedicated staff for after sales service. Just contact us.
About samples. If the quantity and amount are small, we can provide free samples. Custom sample development takes 15 working days. For OEM, we can work with your factory if it has the strength and qualifications.
