Sensors in lab equipment send very weak signals. And the equipment moves often. Hard structured pair shielded cables break their shielding layer during bending. The conductor also gets tired. Then the signal becomes wrong.
Our cable is a flexible pair shielded cable. Its voltage rating is 300/500V. It is made for high precision sensors that need to move, like smart transmitters and encoders.
The conductor is Class 6 ultra fine copper wire. The bunching twist length is smaller than usual. This gives a longer bending life.
The braid layer can create friction dust when bending. So for the pair shielding layer, we often use aluminum plastic composite tape wrap with a tin plated copper drain wire. The aluminum tape gives 100% coverage shielding. The drain wire keeps electrical continuity in the shielding layer. This structure is more flexible than copper wire braid. It also resists bending better.
The insulation is polyethylene. The sheath is oil resistant extra soft PVC. This adapts to the mechanical stress of a moving and bending environment.
We did tests. At a back and forth bending frequency of 10 to 20 times per minute, the transfer impedance of the aluminum plastic composite tape pair shielding layer stays stable. It keeps providing effective electromagnetic isolation. This stops interference leakage caused by gaps in the shielding layer during movement.
The voltage rating is 300/500V. The conductor long term working temperature is 70°C. Working capacitance is ≤0.06 μF/100m. Insulation resistance is ≥1000 MΩ·km.
The Flexible Pair Shielded Control Cable is good for mobile installation. The minimum bend radius can be as low as 6 times the cable outer diameter. We fill the cable inside with anti slip powder or cotton yarn. This reduces friction between the conductor and insulation. The service life is longer.
Every reel is inspected before packing. If the goods arrive at your site and are damaged, and it is our fault, we will replace them. We pay all costs. We provide a 1 year warranty.
