Flexible Inverter Cable Flame Retardant

Petrochemical industry. Surface areas of coal mines. Paint shops. These places have explosion risks. Mobile VFD equipment faces three challenges at the same time. Electromagnetic interference. Frequent movement. Fire hazard. A single function cable cannot do the job.

Our Flexible Inverter Cable Flame Retardant is a universal cable that combines mobile VFD use and flame retardant safety. Its voltage rating is 0.6/1kV. It is made for VFD drive equipment that needs to move in hazardous environments.

The power core is flexible. Class 5 soft copper conductor plus XLPE insulation. This gives a 90°C working temperature and bending life. We use a 3+3 symmetrical structure. This effectively suppresses common mode voltage.

The shielding layer is composite. Copper tape wrap gives 100% coverage. Copper wire braid gives 85% or more coverage. It keeps transfer impedance low during dynamic bending, at ≤50mΩ/m.

The core is the flame retardant sheath. We use flame retardant PVC. The oxygen index is 32% or more. It passes the GB/T 19666 bunched burning Class C flame retardant test. We also add oil resistant plasticizers. This adapts to the oily environment常见 on mobile equipment.

This product meets three standards at the same time. GB/T 12706 power cable standard. GB/T 19666 flame retardant standard. IEC 60092-350 marine and mobile equipment EMC standard. We did tests. Burning in a simulated oil mist environment, the flame spread length was ≤1.5m. No molten drips ignited the filter paper below.

The minimum bend radius for mobile installation is 10 times the cable outer diameter. We did a 5 million cycle drag chain bend test. Bend radius was 12D. After the test, the conductor had no broken strands. The DC resistance change rate of the shielding layer was ≤5%. Insulation resistance was ≥1000MΩ·km.

The conductor working temperature is 90°C. The applicable ambient temperature for mobile use is -25°C to 70°C.

The price of this product is quite high. It is about 1.5 times that of ordinary BP-YJVP2. We suggest choosing it only for mobile use in places with a clear fire risk. For fixed installation, choose the lower cost ZR-BP-YJVP2, which is the non soft structure.
